Ponda: The Health Department has directed the Assistant Engineers of the PWD Dag Ponda division, to disconnect water supply of 52 houses at Curti for releasing sewage waste on open at Deepnagar Curti. This was confirmed by the Ponda Sanitary officer.
Sandeep Parkar and other Curti-Khandepar locals had filed complaints about sewage and domestic waste being released into the open. Parkar said most of these houses had failed to construct septic tanks and soak pits.
