Hedgewar School starts classes at Cujira

PANJIM: Dr K B Hedgewar School, on Thursday, became the first institution to start classes at the Cujira complex, after two postponements. Parents of students, many of whom assisted the management to expedite the construction of the building and put in place furniture, brought their children on the first day even as rains lashed the State.

Excited students were seen searching for their classrooms in the newly-built complex.
The school was earlier operating in NGPDA complex which was built as a satellite market in Mala. The old complex now has only the higher secondary operating but that too will shift to Cujira this year.
The school has a record of getting 100 percent result in SSC for the last eight years.
Dempo’s HSS of Science, Arts and Commerce will shift to its newly built structure before the month-end.
