Joshi named as consul of Korea in Goa

PANJM: The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea has said that appointment of a new Consul Prashant Vasant Joshi will strengthen India-Korea bilateral relationship and enhance the cooperation between Korea and Goa too. 

The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind recognszed the appointment of Joshi as the Consul of the Republic of Korea in Goa with immediate effect through a notification issued on March 7, and an official ceremony was held at the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai on Wednesday in the presence of Consul General Sounguen Kim. 

Joshi will be working towards providing consular services to Korean citizens in Goa and further promote trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries. 

The appointment will strengthen the India-Korea bilateral relations and enhance the cooperation especially between Korea and Goa,” it further states.
