PANJIM: Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society celebrates their Silver Jubilee year on August 31. 

It was on August 31, 1995 that the Society chairman Kiran Thakur incorporated this company with the sole objective of helping the youth to fulfil their dreams by giving them an opportunity to earn their livelihood.

Over the years, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society has created trust and transparency in the society and won the hearts of its customers. It is one of the leading co-operative societies in the States of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa and New Delhi.

Lokmanya’s 231 branches across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa and New Delhi have deposits of over Rs 4,800 crore. This was possible because of the trust and the confidence showed by its customers over the years. Over 50,000 youth have benefitted directly or indirectly while fulfilling their dreams.

“Lokmanya’s customers have shown tremendous faith and still continue to invest in the company even during the COVID pandemic,” says Sushil Jadhav, Divisional Manager of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society.
