Man held for rape, unnatural sex with kids

According to information, the accused is a 38-year-old Nepal native, who resided behind the Chicalim Cottage Hospital with his second wife (also divorced once), her son and daughter (13 and 7 respectively) from her first marriage and his daughter (11) from his first marriage. The couple was living with siblings after getting married a few years ago. 

“According to the accused’s wife, who is a complainant in the case, they had shifted to Goa from Chandigarh two months ago. They first stayed at Birla, Zuarinagar and shifted to Chicalim recently. In her complaint, she also mentioned that the accused frequently raped the minor daughters and had unnatural sex with the son and daughters. The victims and the wife did not report the matter to anyone as the accused threatened them with dire consequences,” said the police.

The police further said, “Frustrated with the regular sexual abuse, the wife decided to teach her second husband a lesson. She got the children admitted to a government school in Vasco and then advised them to complain about the sexual abuse to the school management. On Thursday, the children reported the matter to the school officials, who reported the same to Vasco police. The culprit was later arrested.”

Police registered a case against the accused under Sections 354, 354-A, 354-B, 376, 377, 324, 323, 506-(II) of IPC, Section 8 (II) of Goa Children’s Act and Sections 4, 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Further investigations are on.
