PONDA: Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude on Saturday appealed to the Curti-Khandepar locals not to oppose the proposed drinking water treatment plant project, at Khandepar, in OPA River.
He said, “When there are 18 bandharas in OPA River for OPA Water Treatment Plant, what is the harm for having another one.”
Without taking names of former PWD minister Sudin and former Priol MLA Deepak, Gaude said both his rival politicians are opposing the water treatment plant at Murdi-Khandepar keeping an eye on elections and Curti locals should not fall prey to their institutions.
