Club Goa launches Privilege Club Card to boost tourism

Club Goa, in association with Goa Tourism Development Corporation has launched a new initiative to boost tourism in Goa with its Privilege Club Card which aims at attracting tourists through repeat business via brand Goa.

PANJIM: Club Goa, in association with Goa Tourism Development Corporation has launched a new initiative to boost tourism in Goa with its Privilege Club Card which aims at attracting tourists through repeat business via brand Goa.

The concept revolves around tie-ups with businesses which provides offers and discounts to customers.

Shawn Gracias, Chairman of Club Goa Tuesday said, “We have big names from all across the State on board and tourists can avail of big benefits ranging from 5 per cent to 30 per cent discounts.”

Gracias said that the objective is to give visitors to Goa a good experience and have them re-visiting the State and continue to enjoy the benefits through the privilege club card. The Club Goa has tied up with business establishments dealing in branded clothing, clubs, restaurants, hair styling parlours and much more.

It also plans to get on board the medical fraternity. GTDC will offer discounts at its residencies and restaurants as part of the promotion.

The Club Goa is planning to set up counters at the Goa airport and provide the Club Goa loyalty club card to every visitor on arrival. It also plans to have counters at important tourist locations such as Dona Paula. The Club Goa also plans to take the privilege card to other tourism boards in the country and reach out to tourists through tour and travel operators.

Chairman of the GTDC Nilesh Cabral said, “This concept will inculcate tourists’ loyalty to Goa and will invite them to return to this holiday destination.”

He said that the validity of the card is for three years and the Club Goa will incorporate more and more additions to this list of privileges from time to time.

Club Goa Privilege Club Card was Tuesday launched at the hands of Brazilian footballer and captain of football club Churchill Brothers, Roberto Mendes Silva popularly known as Beto, who is also the brand ambassador.

Various business concerns such as Club Titos, Nike stores, Bharne Creations and Lifestyle, Maracas, Mog Café, Panjim Inn and a host of others are part of this promotion and will offering privileges and discounts to the card holder.
