Collem: Gokula Pratistan Collem will organise its 16th Ganesh Jayanti at Ganesh Temple, Collem, on February 13 and 14.
On February 13, Ganapati Pujan, Ganesh Yog, Abhishek, Devata Pujan and other religious programme will commence at 8 am and Maha Arati ad Prasad will be served at 1 pm.
On the occasion, Principal Atmaram Kudachadkar (a State award teacher), Narsinha Prabhu (best ex-sarpanch of Collem), Raghoba Dessai (social worker), Appa Gaonkar (stage artiste) and Nividha Nagvekar who stood first at Our Lady of Piety HS in the March 2012 board exam, will be felicitated.
