PONDA: Regretting that the BJP was reluctant to take up the cause of the Hindu nation, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) National Guide Dr Charudatta Pingale has stated that the Hindu nationalism would not be established through the ballot, but in the culmination of a battle through a second freedom struggle.
He was speaking at the opening session of the third all India Hindu Convention, organised by HJS at Ramnathi Temple in Ponda taluka on Friday.
The session was attended by 375 representatives of over 125 Hindu organisations from 20 states as well as from Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
“To think that the recent change of power at the Centre is conducive for the establishment of the Hindu nation is a delusion, because the BJP, the offspring of the RSS, who distances itself from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Swatantryaveer Sawarkar, will never take up the mission of the Hindu nation,” stated Pingale.
“The struggle for the liberation of the Hindus that commenced in the year 711 is not yet over and a time has come for Hindus to restart the freedom struggle with the same old exceptional will-power and unmatched bravery to protect our self-respect and seats of pride,” he said.
“The Hindu Nation is not going to be established through the ballot, it will simply be the culmination of a battle. Hence, Hindu sects and organisations have to blow the bugle for the second freedom struggle,” added Pingale.
Speaking on the occasion, H H Ishwarbuva Ramadasi emphasised the importance of penance. Stating that ‘Pandavas became victorious by performing penance,’ he appealed to the people engaged in the mission of Dharma, to perform penance.
Swami Pradeeptananda Maharaj, chief of the Bharat Sevashram Sangh (Bengal and Jharkhand), advised the Hindu community to start referring to the nation as ‘Hindustan’, while Neel Madhav Das of ‘Tarun Hindu Sanghatana’ from Jharkhand, accused the so-called “secular” politicians of exploiting Muslims for their political gains.
Ishwarbuva Ramdasi from Sangli-Maharashtra and Prayatnasagarji Maharaj from Khandwa (MP) were among those present at the seminar.
Earlier, the Convention commenced with traditional blowing of the conch and the recitation of the Vedamantras. Sanatan’s two new Marathi Holy texts ‘Bodhakatha’ from the Balsanskar series and ‘Geetadarshan’ were published on the occasion by the Saints and dignitaries who graced the occasion.
