PANJIM: A team from the National Investigative Agency (NIA), Mumbai, raided the residence of a prominent active member of the Popular Front of India (PFI) in Sada, Mormugao, in the wee hours of Thursday. The raid began at 3 am in the morning with at least 20 to 30 officials of NIA being part of the investigating team.
The raid ended at 10 am. Sources informed that there are no arrests made in this raid, however, material for investigation was recovered from the residence of the PFI Member.
The raid is a part of a countrywide operation across 13 states, including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Assam.
