PANJIM: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa will explore the possibility to make use of local language as a medium of instruction as stressed in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Addressing the 8th convocation ceremony, NIT Director Gopal Mugeraya said that there are several professional institutions in the country that are imparting education through vernacular languages. “This is part of the policy to promote the strength, usage and vibrancy of Indian languages,” he said.
