As our world changes, at a pace which is sometimes difficult to keep up with, so does the world of news gathering and news distribution. Information dissemination is not only on the go, but even the traditional habit of newspaper reading, is done as much in the old fashioned way as it is done electronically. Those of you are far away from home, especially, need to get the feel of your favourite local paper, for news and vital information like obituaries and announcements or simply to know which are the new tiatr releases.

This will resonate with thousands of Goans who are settled all over the world who log on to the Herald epaper. Towards that end, we are reaching out to you, our readers, for a nominal subscription fee to access the Herald epaper. From January 3, when you land on the epaper page ( https://epaper.heraldgoa.in) you will be prompted to register on line and  digitally pay the fee of Rs 130 for 30 days or Rs 390 for 90 days. (You can choose one of the two options in the menu). This pricing works out to about Rs 4.30 per day, which is far less than a cup of tea or coffee in any small eatery. Those paying through foreign banks or credit/debit cards will be charged in your local currency. It is roughly equivalent to US $ 2 per month. The payment gateway is very simple and all major forms of digital payments will be accepted.
