MARGAO: The Fatorda Police on Saturday arrested a New Delhi native in an online cheating case.

According to the police, a Fatorda local filed an online cheating complaint at the Fatorda Police Station. The complainant stated that a person posing as a bank employee cheated him of Rs 19,000 after obtaining OTP of his credit card.  

A special team was formed under the supervision of SDPO Margao consisting of Police Inspector and Police Sub Inspector to work on the case.

The alleged accused Kush Gupta, aged 30 years and a native of New Delhi was arrested in the capital. Two mobile phones and one laptop were also seized from him. He is being brought to Goa. Further investigation is in progress.
