Ordinance to ensure no change in Communidade land use: CM
Once allocated, the user will not be able to change the land use
PANJIM: The Goa Cabinet decided that Government will issue an Ordinance to ensure that there is no land use change in Comunidades. Once the land is allocated for housing, factory, industry or institution, one will not be able to change the land use. The Ordiance follows the observation of the government that land use of allocated government land is being changed.
Briefing media after the Cabinet meeting on Monday, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant declared that his government has observed that people are changing the land use of Comunidade land which is allocated to them. He said Cabinet has decided to bring in an Ordinance to stop the land use changes.
