A tragic accident on NH 366 claimed one life and left two others severely injured on Monday morning. The mishap occurred due to rash and negligent driving, as a Swift car veered into the wrong lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
On Monday morning, a tragic road accident on NH 366 near Sheela Bar and Restaurant, Terepal, Sancoale, left one dead and two injured. The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. when a Swift car, driven by Suresh Jaggal (45), veered into the wrong lane, colliding with a Maruti Ertiga.
The Swift driver, Suresh Jaggal, succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The Ertiga driver, Yallapa Muniswami (30), and Swift passenger, Nissar Ahmad (54) from Bangalore, sustained severe injuries.
Verna Police registered FIR (Cr. No. 04/2025) under Sections 125(b), 281, and 106(1) of the BNS. Police investigations, led by PSI Rajdatt Arsekar, are ongoing to uncover further details.
