PONDA: Residents of Tisk, Ponda have raised alarms about health issues as sewage continues to overflow from a building in Daag, Tisk. The unpleasant odor in the area has become unbearable for many. Kisan Naik, a local from Ponda, voiced his concerns, asking, "Who will take responsibility if diseases arise from the sewage spilling onto the roads near our homes?" He emphasized that it is the duty of the PMC to address the problems in Tisk, Ponda. It's worth noting that the PMC had previously warned some residential buildings in Daag, Ponda, to cut off their water connections if the sewage situation was not rectified.

PMC Chairperson Anand Naik encouraged all residential buildings and societies in Ponda to take action on sewage connections, warning that the PMC may cut off water supplies if they do not comply. He mentioned that several hospitals have already made the switch to sewage connections and emphasized that residential buildings should follow suit. Naik noted that Municipal supervisors are currently handing out forms for these connections. The PMC is committed to preventing sewage from flowing openly, as it creates a public nuisance.
