Shiv Sena takes up employment issue

PANJIM: With the government not taking stringent action on suppliers of formalin-laced fish, Shiv Sena Goa unit president Jitesh Kamat said that the supporters of this government should be ashamed to flash Goem, Goemkar, Goemkarponn on their banners.

“BJP-led government has tremendously failed to generate employment in Goa and only misguides youth by giving false promises. In the last six years, government has sold Goa to outsiders by signing contracts on PPP basis with companies from outside Goa thus seizing employment from our Goan entrepreneurs in many Govt departments,” Kamat alleged.

He said, “Economic development is more important than structural development that can be only achieved by providing employment.”
