SIT raids Khan’s Fatorda office

MARGAO: After the raid on the lease owner, the office of Imran Khan in Fatorda was raided by the Mining Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Thursday. 

The office of Imran Khan at Lake Plaza in Fatorda was raided by a five-member team of the Special Investigation Team  and important documents pertaining to the trade of the companies of Imran were seized. 

The office on the 5th floor of the Lake Plaza houses a total of five offices, main of which are the Imran Minerals Pvt Ltd and Feelings Minerals Pvt Ltd. The office also houses the offices of Imran Traders, Ahamad Khan Agriculture and Ahamad Khan Real Estates.  The raid begun between 11.30 am and 12 pm and went on till 6.30 in the evening. 

The raid was conducted under the guidance of Police Inspector Dattaguru Sawant and four other officials of the Special Investigation Team . 

The Special Investigation Team has seized over five files full of documents from the office. The team also gathered valuable computer data from the office. 

While leaving premises, PI Sawant confirmed that they have got vital data pertaining to the case and have collected it all. 

Earlier on Wednesday, the Special Investigation Team  had raided the residence of the Maria Figaredo in Loutolim in the same connection. The officials however have remained tight-lipped over the SIT inquiry.
