St Xavier’s novena at  Old Goa from Nov 24

PANJIM: The Novena of St Francis Xavier will commence on November 24, the last Sunday of the liturgical year coinciding with the feast of Christ the King. 
The feast of St Francis Xavier’s will be celebrated on December 3 with the theme "Rooted in Christ like St Francis Xavier, go and do likewise." 
During the days, most Masses will be celebrated in the mother tongue Konkani, while others in Indian regional language such as Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi will be celebrated on different days. 
The last Mass held in the evening will be celebrated in English. 
However, Masses will also be celebrated in other European languages such as Portuguese, French, Italian and Spanish. 
The Masses will commence at 5 am, on November 24, November 30 and December 1.
On other days of the week, the Masses will be at 6 am, 7.15 am, 8.15 am (Parish Mass), 9.30 am, 10.30 am, 3.45 pm (Centres Mass), 5.15 pm and 6.15 pm in English. On December 3, the feast of St Francis Xavier, Masses will be at 4 am, 5 am, 6 am, 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10.30 am (Feast Mass), 12.30 pm, 3 pm (Spanish), 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm (English). 
There will be no Mass at 10.30 am on November 25 and 28, in view of the feast of St Catherine, patroness of the Se Cathedral and the inter-religious dialogue respectively.
