State relieves  Abhyankar,  Sehrawat

PANJIIM: The State has relieved IAS officers Ameya Abhyankar and Anjali Sehrawat from the State administration, more than 20 days after the Ministry of Home Affairs transferred one IPS and three IAS officers including the two AGMUT-cadre officers from Goa. 
Their relieving order has been issued after the Monsoon Session of the Legislative Assembly on August 9. 
The separate order by the Personnel Department states, “The Governor of Goa is pleased to relieve Ameya Abhyankar, IAS (AGMUT:2007), Secretary (Information Technology) from this Administration with effect from August 9, 2019 to take up his new assignment at Government of Arunachal Pradesh.” 
A similar order was issued to relieve Anjali Sehrawat, IAS (AGMUT2013), Special Secretary (Home) to take up her new assignment at Government of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Three IAS officers including Abhyankar, Sherawat and Govind Jaiswal; and IPS Officer Chandan Choudhary were transferred out of Goa in an order issued by the MHA on July 19, three days before the 20-day-long Goa Legislative Assembly commenced. Jaiswal and Choudhary have also been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh.
