
PANJIM: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has ‘corrected’ the zones of seven more land parcels admeasuring 52,535 square metres as settlement using provisions under Sub-Section (2) of Section 17 of the Goa Town and Country Planning (TCP) Act.
In the Regional Plan Goa-2021, the zone of part of the plot of land admeasuring an area of 7,098 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 111, sub-division No. 2-V, of village Guirdolim, Salcete was earmarked as orchard zone, while the plot of land admeasuring an area of 956 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 158, sub-division No. 1-C, of village Camorlim, Salcete was earmarked as orchard zone.
The land admeasuring an area of 11,580 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 8, sub-division No. 1 (Part A), of village Sarvan, Bicholim taluka was earmarked as paddy field with CADA.
The plot of land admeasuring an area of 7,250 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 57, sub-division No. 1, of village Verna, Salcete, was earmarked as orchard zone.
The plot of land admeasuring an area of 12,560 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 10, sub-division No. 5 and Survey No. 10, sub-division No. 6, of village Panelim-Siridao, Tiswadi Taluka, District North Goa, was earmarked as partly orchard and partly natural cover and the land admeasuring an area of 12,576 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 208, sub-division No. 3-A and Survey No. 208, sub-division No. 3 of village Pilerne, Bardez was earmarked as natural cover with No Development Slope.
The land admeasuring an area of 515 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 170, sub-division No. 0 (Part A), of village Karapur, Bicholim taluka was earmarked as cultivable land. As per Regional Plan Goa-2021, all the above plot of lands has been ostensibly ‘corrected’ as settlement zones.
