On April 4, 2025, the Crime Branch team led by PI Kishor Ramanan, along with LPSI Pragati Malik, ASI Shriram Salgaonkar, and PC Swapnil Simepurushkar, apprehended two Russian nationals for illegally residing in Goa without a valid visa. The arrested individuals, mother and son Andrei Bliznetsov (48) and Liudmila Bliznetsova (75), were detained in Dando, Siolim, Bardez.
The duo was found residing at the address of Laxmikant Shirodkar, H. No. 2963/3, Dando, Siolim, and was arrested for violating immigration laws. They have been charged under Section 7(1)(3) of the Foreigners Order 1948 and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act 1946.
The investigation is currently being carried out by PI Kishor Ramanan, under the supervision of Dy. SP Crime Rajesh Kumar and overall supervision of SP Crime Shri Rahul Gupta, IPS.
