PANJIM: The sensational escape of land-grabbing accused Siddique, also known as Suleman Khan, and his naming the top brass of police and a politician has grabbed headlines. However, now the investigation has gone into cold storage. In particular, the investigation had to focus on who produced the two Suleiman videos and who released them.
Also why is the Crime Branch not focusing on the first video and those named in it, while its only focusing on the second video which was allegedly released while in custody where he made a complete turn around on his first video? In particular who released the second video?
The first video of Siddique was released between 16 December 2024 exposing eminent entities behind his arrest and escape.
If he was arrested two days back and the video surfaced on the third day did Siddique produce the video while in custody? Who produced the video and who released the video to whom has to be thoroughly investigated
AAP Goa President Amit Palekar told Goa police that the first video was given to him by an unidentified person
The video was then given to Congress vice-president Sunil Kawthankar. The video was released by Siddiqui after his escape from Crime Branch custody. Sunil Kawthankar circulated the video to all media on 16 Dec 2024
In the case of the first video it is clear that Siddique was the author who had given the video to Palekar through a third person.
So the next main question is who is the author of the second video of Siddique?
The investigation has been buried. Most important question into this case has not been asked. Most important people named in the first video have not been questioned
People named in the second video have been interrogated and the case has been investigated by summoning them at Old Goa Police station, which is Adv Amit Palekar
People named in the first video are the DySP, the SP crime branch and one MLA. These people have been named by Siddique have not been questioned and no case has been filed
On 23 Dec 2024, Goa DGP Alok Kumar held a press briefing wherein he was confronted with the second video released by Siddique. DGP refused to comment, saying everything will be investigated.
