The 49th Tiatr ‘A’ Group Competition organized by Kala Academy Goa concluded with fervor, showcasing the rich talents of local institutions. A total of 12 institutions participated, each presenting their unique tiatrs, the traditional Goan theatre form.
A distinguished panel of judges comprising Agnelo L. Fernandes, Fr. Mathew Fernandes, and Dorothy Juliet Mascarenhas, carefully deliberated over the performances to select the winners. Their task was undoubtedly challenging given the high caliber of the presentations.
Best Tiatr – Performances:
1st Prize: "Daddy’s Home" by Goan.Com Socio & Cultural Association, Candolim
2nd Prize: "Bara Brestar Tera Sukrar" by Machi Mogi Morjim, Cultural Sanskrutic Saunstha, Morjim-Pernem
3rd Prize: "Family" by Matias Creative Group, Calangute
Consolation Prize: "Goykarponn" by Kala Niketan, Majorda
