“Kavyanand” will be inaugurated on Thursday 30th November 2023 from 5.00 pm onwards on the 113 th Birth Anniversary of Legendary poet Shri. Bakibab Borkar at the hands of Shri. Digamber Kamat, Hon’ble MLA Margao, Shri. Damodar (Damu) G. Naik ex-chairman Ravindra Bhavan, Margao and in the presence of renowned Music Director Shri. Ashok Patki and also a renowned writer, poet, actor Shri. Kishor Kadam.
This programme is initiated with an idea for Goan poets to interact with well-known National level poets from various parts of India including Goa, and a poetic meet for all young poets from Goa and specially from Salcete (Margao & Fatorda) to present their work on every fourth week of the month and which will provide a platform to the upcoming poet and will give boost, encouragement and guidance to the upcoming poets, writers, music composers etc. This event is open for all.
