A deeply distressing incident has sent shockwaves through the community, as a tragic accident in Banastarim has resulted in the loss of three lives and injuries to six others. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated on Tuesday that the police are actively engaged in a thorough and comprehensive investigation into the case. According to the medical report, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Shripad, also known as Paresh A Sinai Sawardekar, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The analysis of his blood sample revealed an alarming alcohol content of 94mg, significantly surpassing the legal permissible limit of 30mg per 100 ml of blood. This disturbing revelation underscores a pivotal factor that likely played a pivotal role in the unfolding of this tragic incident.
