Mopa International Vimantal Namkaran Samiti organised a symbolic protest in front of the statue of Dayanand Bandodkar near the Secretariat in Panjim to follow up the proposed demand of naming Mopa International Airport in the name of the first Chief Minister of free Goa Dayanand Bandodkar.
The Mopa International Vimantal Namkaran Samiti has also demanded that the CM release the names of Pernem locals who have been given jobs by the govt at the Airport and pay a royalty fee to those farmers who gave up their lands for the Airport.
