A transformative workshop titled "REaCH" (Robotics for Every Child) was successfully conducted at the Siddhalingeshwar Community Hall, Mangoor Hill, Vasco. Initiated by the esteemed MLA of Vasco, Krishna (Daji) Salkar, the workshop aimed to equip young minds with robotics skills vital for the future.
Under the guidance of "Qurious Mind," a pioneering organization in educational robotics, 30 eager participants were immersed in hands-on learning using the Reach kit. This affordable kit is meticulously designed to instill proficiency in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
The event, spearheaded by Narayan Borkar, Councillor of Ward No. 11, Mormugao Municipal Council, in collaboration with esteemed social worker Sandeep Narvekar, garnered significant community engagement. The collective effort underscored the commitment towards nurturing Vasco's youth and fostering their academic and professional growth.
Logistics support for the workshop was graciously provided by Simon Fernandes, representing C-Libz, an authorized training center of Qurious Mind Curriculum. This collaboration ensured a seamless execution of the program, enhancing its impact manifold.
The workshop's success owes much to the dedication and expertise of its trainers: Amey Kumbhar, Dattaraj Gawas, and Rohan Bandekar. Their guidance and mentorship empowered participants to explore the realms of robotics, igniting their passion for innovation and problem-solving.
In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, initiatives like "REaCH" play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of innovators and technologists. Through such endeavors, Vasco's youth are not merely spectators but active participants in shaping the future of technology and beyond.
