We don’t want another Wayanad to happen in Goa for the next 50 years: CM

PANJIM:  Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has claimed that his government does not want another Wayanad to happen in Goa for the next 50 years. Hence his government has amended the Land Revenue Code for non conversion of agricultural land.

We are serious about disaster management that why a Scientific Committee has been appointed and based on their recommendations we will cancel construction licences even if they have been given. He also said that a stability report would be conducted below which villages are located.

He was speaking at the Disaster Management Committee meeting on Friday.
