PANJIM: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) will observe June 23 at the AIFF Grassroots Day, the birth anniversary of Indian football legend P K Banerjee.
The AIFF decided on a new day in acknowledgment of PK’s remarkable contributions to Indian football, notably his instrumental role in leading the national team to a historic gold medal triumph in the 1962 Asian Games.
The Siolim Football Centre of GFDC VPCC-SLM in association with V P Siolim-Marna and GFDC will organise the 'Little Tiger Championship' on June 23.
