PANJIM: Anushri Naik and Ishita Colaso will battle for the U-19 Girls crown, while Urvi Surlakar and Neeza Kamat will clash in the Women’s Singles final in the Ulhas Jewellers BPS All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025 organised by the BPS Sports Club in association with the Goa Table Tennis Association at the Multipurpose Stadium, Fatorda, on Thursday.
In the U19 Girls semi-finals, Anushri defeated Urvi Surlakar 3-1 and Ishita eased past Neeza Kamat 3-0. Earlier in the quarters, Anushri outplay Ira Nadkarni 3-1, Ishita blanked Aarna Lotlikar 3-0, Urvi overcame Aayushi Amonkar 3-0 and Neeza got past Sanisha Sinha 3-1.
In the Women’s Singles semi-finals, Urvi Surlakar outplayed Ishita Colaso 3-1, while Neeza Kamat edged out Pradnya Caro in a tense 3-2 thriller. Quarterfinal action saw Ishita survive a scare against Samaira Verlekar to win 3-2, Urvi outsmarted Anushri 3-0, Pradnya dispatch Sachi Dessai 3-0 and Neeza dominate Sanisha 3-0.
