Assonora Utd pip Sirsaim; Ucassaim win

MAPUSA: Assonora United FC managed to register a solitary goal win over Sirsaim SWC in the GFA's Third Division league Bardez Zone, played at Duler stadium, here, on Saturday.

The all important goal for the winners was scored by Laxman Malvankar in the 70th minute of play.

At Moira grounds: Ucassaim SC trounced Sodiem Siolim SC by 4-1 margin. Ucassaim colts went into the breather with three goals cushion. Sanchet Gawade netted a brace with Cyprian Rodrigues adding his name to the scorers list.

On crossing ends Swayan Kerkar managed to pull a goal for Sodiem Siolim while Salu Santos pumped in the fourth goal for the winners.
