MAPUSA: Hosts Bardez Veterans had an easy outing as they walked past Cunchelim Veterans by 4-1 margin in the All Goa Veterans football tournament played at Candolim ground, on Wednesday.
In the first half, Bardez Veterans scored through Miskin and Swapnesh.
On crossing ends, Bardez further increased their lead through a brace by Michael. Cunchelim scored their consolation goal through Nandakishore. In Tuesday’s match between Goa Police and Mitra, Goa Police had protested against Mitra with the Bardez Committee, which met this afternoon, and decided to uphold the protest and declare Goa Police winners.
