The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revised the sponsorship valuation for the Indian cricket team, setting a new base price higher than what outgoing sponsor Dream11 was paying. Industry sources reveal that the reserve price has been fixed at INR 3.5 crore for bilateral matches and INR 1.5 crore for ICC and ACC tournaments, marking an uplift of over 10% and 3% respectively.

With around 130 matches scheduled over the next three years, including the 2026 T20 World Cup and the 2027 ODI World Cup, the board could potentially generate ₹400 crore or more. The bidding will take place on September 16, eliminating the chance of a new sponsor before the Asia Cup starting September 9.

The BCCI has restricted certain categories like gaming, crypto, tobacco, and financial products from bidding to avoid conflicts with existing sponsors. Dream11’s exit followed the government’s new Online Gaming Act, 2025, which banned real-money gaming companies.
