BCCI Unveils 'Sponsorless' India Jersey for Asia Cup Amid Gaming Law Changes

Ahead of the Asia Cup 2025, Team India’s new official jersey was unveiled, marking a rare moment without a sponsor logo after Dream11’s exit. Fantasy sports giant Dream11 ended its deal with the BCCI following the government’s Online Gaming Act 2025, which banned money-based fantasy gaming platforms.

The men in blue, led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, were seen training in plain jerseys. All-rounder Shivam Dube shared the new sponsorless jersey on Instagram, replacing the Dream11 logo with “INDIA”. Fans welcomed the stripped-down design, calling it more authentic and classic.

The BCCI has floated a fresh tender for a new lead sponsor, barring companies linked to online money gaming and requiring a minimum turnover of ₹300 crore. For the Asia Cup, however, India will play in plain jerseys.
