MAPUSA: Benny XI came from two goals down to hold PVC Parra to a 2-2 draw in the Goa Football Association’s Division II League match played at Parra ground, on Wednesday.
PVC Parra that had drawn with Vagator PYSC in their last league match were held by Benny XI to a 2-2 draw. Benny XI had won their last league match against Sangolda Lightning by 2-1 margin.
PVC Parra went into the lead in the 26th minute with Sahil Jalmi beating the Benny XI keeper Adi Sharma with a neat placement, 1-0.
In the 42nd minute, Cyprian Rodrigues doubled PVC Parra’s lead 2-0.
However, in the added time of the first session, Flyod Pereira managed to reduce the margin for Benny XI, 2-1. In the very first minute of the second session, Benny XI equalised once again through Flyod Pereira on entering the 18-yard box, 2-2.
