MAPUSA: Calangute Association eves registered a thumping 12-0 win over Patrong SC in the 8th GFA'S Vedanta Women's football league, played at Poriat ground, on Thursday.
Marecia Tavares opened up the floodlights in the very 3rd minute of play with a neat placement.
There was no looking back for the Calangute eves as they then scored at regular intervals.
Valaina Fernandes (2), Jozima Fernandes (2) and Stessi Cardozo (2) all three netted a brace each. Alana Pereira, Alicia Fernandes, Sujata Naik, Aaroshi Govenkar and Remediana Noronha added their names to the scorers list.

RAIA: Velsao SCC defeated Vasco United FC by solitary goal in the 2nd Division League match, at Cansaulim Sports Complex ground. Reagan Soares scored the winning goal for Velsao SCC.
United Youth Club of Bogmalo defeated Benfica Youth Club, 2-1, at Tilak Maidan. Valroy Dias and Ajay Patel scored for Bogmalo while Sahil Bhiungade reduced the margin for UYC Bogmalo.

Patrong Sports Club defeated Betalbatim SC, 6-1, in the U-15 Division 2 League match, at Utorda ground. Mark D'Souza and Shawaiz Shaikh scored a brace each while Delano D'Cruz and Adil Bepari scored a goal each for Patrong SC. Shiva Indwar was the scorer for Betalbatim SC.
At DBO Fatorda - SCC Loutolim defeated Cortalim Gymkhana by 7-0 goals. Swiden Fernandes scored a hat-trick, Jasel Cardozo scored a brace while Vicky Kumar and Jaden Dias scored a goal each for SCC Loutolim.
