RAIA: United Boys Ambaulim marched into the quarter-finals of the Curtorim Villagers Cup 2025, with a 3-1 victory over Sao Jose de Areal, at St Alex Church ground, on Wednesday.
Ambaulim struck early through Joel Baretto in the 15th minute before Bradley Carvalho doubled the advantage two minutes later. Sao Jose de Areal hit back in the 29th minute through Azilton Viegas to make it 2-1 at half-time.
Despite Areal’s pressure after the restart, Ambaulim’s defence stood firm. In the 50th minute, Bradley sealed the win with his second goal of the match.
Bradley Carvalho was adjudged man-of-the-match, with the award presented by Vincent Rodrigues, former President of Curtorim Gymkhana, and ex-player Andrew Baretto.
