MAPUSA/RAIA: Candolim Sports Club scored a 2-0 victory over Goa Velha Sports Club to move into quarter-finals of Peddem Bomm Cup 2025, played at Peddem ground, here, on Tuesday.
Candolim SC scored the first goal in the 11th minute through Royce Gonsalves, who added a second goal in the 34th minute to complete his brace. Goa Velha SC exerted immense pressure on the rival citadel but could not manage to break open the Candolim SC defence.
