RAIA: The Carmel Higher Secondary School, Nuvem, emerged champions in the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs All Goa Inter-Higher Secondary School State Level Volleyball Championship defeating The Rosary Higher Secondary School, Dona Paula, in three straight sets 25-11, 25-9 and 25-7 at Massano de Amorim ground, Panjim, recently.
From the outset, the Carmel girls exhibited a disciplined three-touch technical strategy, effectively stifling any momentum from their adversaries.
Their dominance was further underscored by powerful tennis serves and formidable smashes, showcasing their exceptional physical prowess.
The seamless coordination, evident not only in the State final but throughout their zonal and inter-zonal campaigns culminated in their well-deserved all Goa championship.
The triumph brings considerable prestige to the Carmel Higher Secondary School and surrounding community serving as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring volleyball players Statewide.
