RAIA: Carmona Sports Club got the better of Chandor Club 3-1 to enter into the quarter-finals of Vaidya Family Memorial Cup football tournament organised by Cuncolim Union at Cuncolim ground, on Monday.
Carmona SC netted the first goal of the match through Shanon Fernandes in the 34 minute. Carmona SC further inflated the lead through Dezwin Dias in the 37 minute. Then Carmona SC through Ronan Ferrao netted 3-0 in the 53rd minute. Chandor Club pulled a goal back through Alreach Piexito in the 47 minute.
The man-of-the-match was award to Dezwin Dias of Carmona Sports Club by football lover Vijay Mopkar.
