RAIA: Cumborda Sports Club booked a spot in the final of the 2nd Caniza Peixoto Memorial football tournament with a 3-0 win on penalties over Novowaddo Sports Club, after a goalless draw in regulation time at St Alex Church ground.
In the shootout, Rio, Marcus and Mackson converted their penalties, while Novowaddo failed to score any. Marcus of Cumborda was named man-of-the-match and felicitated by footballer Savio Peixoto. The final will be played on August 3, against Pidadigal Sports Club.
