RAIA: Curtorim Gymkhana scored a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Raia Sporting Club to move into the semi-finals of 4th Betalbatim Villagers Cup organised by Betalbhatim SC at Betalbatim ground, on Thursday.
Raia SC scored through a penalty kick when their forward was brought down by Curtorim Gymkhana goalkeeper Prakash Jhosi in the 12th minute. The penalty kick was converted by Garrison Fernandes.
Changing over, Curtorim found the equaliser goal through Joywin Carneiro in the 44th minute. Ryan Fernandes in the 57th minute. Joywin Carneiro of Curtorim Gymkhana was awarded man-of-the-match by Goa Football Association Executive Member Andrew Ferrao.
