BATORA CURTORIM: Davorlim Veterans registered a solitary goal win over Raia Rachol Veterans to move into the quarter-finals of the Batora United Veterans football tournament, organised by Batora Veterans Curtorim, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
Melvin Pereira de Solva was the star of the match for Raia Rachol while Anceto Rebello gave his best for Davorlim veterans.
Melvin Pereira of Raia Rachol took a long range shot but failed to find into Davorlim net in the fourth minute. Davorlim’s Remito’s power-packed shot hit the Rachol-Raia post and rebound back into play in the 10th minute.
The all important goal was scored by Anceto Rebelo in the 48th minute of the match.
