PANJIM: Captain Werner Fernandes led the FC Goa Fans Club UK on an unbeaten run to be crowned champions of the 3rd edition Indian Super Fans' League UK, ISL UK tournament, organised by Bengal Heritage Foundation, at Arbour Park, Slough SL2 Say, recently.
They thumped Chennaiyin FC 5-0. Francisco Dias scored a hat-trick while Ketan Naik netted a sublime brace.
The UK-based fan club also got the better of East Bengal 3-1 in the semi-finals. In the group stages, FC Goa Fans Club UK also picked up wins against Kerala Blasters and FC Odisha.Francisco Dias ended up being the top scorer of the tournament while Ketan Naik was adjudged man-of-the match in the finals.
