FC Goa opens ticket sale in State; online sale for Al Nassr clash starts today

FATORDA: FC Goa launched the general sale of tickest in the State for the marquee clash against Saudi Arabian powerhouse Al Nassr, in what promises to be the biggest night in Indian football. Online sales for the rest of India will open on September 19.

To ensure fairness and priority access, the club has rolled out a four-phase ticketing plan: Phase 1: Exclusive access for season ticket holders. Phase 2: Priority access for fans who purchased tickets to both the Al Zawraa and FC Istiklol games.

Phase 3 (now live): General sale in Goa via box office counters in North and South Goa, giving local supporters an early opportunity to secure seats ahead of the nationwide window. Phase 4 (All-India online sale): Opens for fans across the country from Friday.

In South Goa at Fatorda swimming pool, between 10 am and 8 pm, in North Goa, FC Goa House, Porvorim, 11 am to 5 pm. Box offices will remain open on September 19, , subject to ticket availability.

Demand has been exceptional, with ticket requests pouring in from across India. Early trends during the priority access window alone show tickets were purchased from 25 different cities nationwide - underscoring the scale of anticipation to witness Al Nassr in Goa.

With a star-studded Al Nassr squad featuring some of Europe’s most iconic names, excitement has been palpable, as fans lined up 1–2 hours before opening time at both centers. Long queues, bulk purchases, and a buzzing atmosphere have highlighted the incredible response from Goans eager to be part of a historic night.

“This is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Goans and Indian football fans,” said an FC Goa spokesperson.

“By opening two Box Offices in North and South Goa, we have given our local supporters a head start before the nationwide online sale begins tomorrow. The response has been phenomenal and underlines the excitement around welcoming a world-class team like Al Nassr to Goa.”
