MAPUSA/RAIA: FC Siolim went on the rampage as they drubbed Vintage 73 SC by 7-0 margin in the Goa Football Association’s Division III League Bardez Zone match played at Siolim ground, on Friday.
Star striker of FC Siolim Pushparaj Mandrekar opened his teams account from the penalty spot in very 9th minute of play and pumped in two more goals to complete his hat-trick.
Dalesh Pednekar netted a brace with Sonu Mandrekar and Aiyan Shaikh adding their names to the scorer’s list.
At Moira ground, El Shaddai S and Cultural Club drubbed Laxmi Prasad SC by 4-0 margin. Akash Chavan netted a brace with skipper Mohan Chawan scoring the third goal.
Harichandra Harijan scored an own goal of Laxmi Prasad to make it 4-0.
St Sebastiao YC, Murida-Fatorda, moved past SCC Loutolim 3-2 in the Salcete Zone League match played at Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Friday.
Substitute Jaden Fernandes scored a brace, while Siddhesh Biswas scored the other goal for St Sebastiao YC. Declan Gomes and Carl Soares scored a goal each for SCC Loutolim.
