Fr Agnel Multipurpose, Regina Martyrum win; Rosary HS held to a draw

PANJIM: In Group A, round 2 of the U-15 girls category, Fr Agnel Multipurpose High School, Verna, registered a win over Rosary High School, Navelim, with Velanie Dias putting on a dominant performance to earn player-of-the-match honours in the Next Gen League - inter-school football and futsal league - organised by The King’s Sports Academy, with venue partner, The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal, on Saturday.

In Group B, round 2, Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna, secured a victory against Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal, with Erica Crasto once again showcasing her consistency and skill to be named player-of-the-match.

In the U-17 girls round 2, Rosary High School, Navelim, faced off against Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, in a well-matched contest that ended in a draw. Christine Ferrao of Rosary High School was awarded player-of-the-match for her impactful presence on the field.
