PANJIM: The Goa Football Association will be participating in the Junior Boys’ National Football Championship for Dr B C Roy Trophy 2025-26 in Tier 1, Group A, comprising Goa along with Delhi, Telangana and the hosts Punjab, scheduled from July 20 to 30, at Amritsar, Punjab.
The following players have been selected to represent the State: Aaryav Da Costa, Abner Viegas, Messi Fernandes, Shlok Govekar, Elrad Braganza, Nahum D’Souza, Amstrong Fernandes, Wayne Colaco, Emmanuel Gama, Messi Rebello, Bryson Dias, Rahul Sherpali, Crossley Dias, Andreas Furtado, Crizman Correia, Musab Shaikh, Kashinath Halankar, Ashwel Mendes, Messi Colaco, Clizer Noronha. Officials: Laxman Hadfadkar (manager), Shane Temudo (head coach), Gopi Gad (assistant coach), Saiel Naik (physiotherapist).
The team will leave for the championship on July 18. Goa will play first match against Telangana on July 20.
