MAPUSA: Goan Warriors FC registered a hard-fought 3-2 win over Valpoi FC in the Goa Football Association’s Division II League match played at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Monday.
Valpoi FC struck one goal each in both session of play through Nakul Gawas (26th minute) and Sujit Gaonkar 88th minute).
For Goan Warriors Aditya Talwar (37th minute), Rohan Pednekar 85th minute) and Aruthvik Parvekar (87th minute) scored.
At Sangolda ground, Sangolda Lightning had an easy outing as they drubbed FC Tuem by 5-1 margin.
Mohit Kankonkar opened the account for Sangolda Lightning with Gaurav Kavlekar (2) and Trivondra Madkaikar (2) adding a brace each. Vishwam Daware scored the consolation goal for FC Tuem.

Loutolim win
Patrong SC and SCC Loutolim registered wins in the U-15 Division II League matches. At Utorda SAG ground, Patrong SC thrashed Cortalim Gymkhana by 4-0 goals. Affan Lala Shah, Shawaiz Shaikh, Naeem Shaikh and Ayan Madar scored a goal each for Patrong SC. In another match, a solitary goal by Shannon D’Costa helped SCC Loutolim to beat Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda.
South Goa Utd, Sesa FA & Churchill Bros

South Goa United CSC trounced Geno FC 9-0 in the U-13 Division I League match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda. Leading by 3-0 at the breather, for South Goa United, Mohammad Asif Mirchi and Savion Fernandes scored hat-tricks, while Macklan Menezes, Levi Misquita and Jasaf Fernandes scored a goal each.
At Cansaulim ground, Sesa Football Academy defeated Cortalim Villagers SWSC by 4-0 goals. Shawn Colaco, Erwin Fizardo, Purshuram Kandolkar and Jonatan Carvalho scored a goal each for Sesa FA.
At Dramapur ground, Churchill Brothers FC outplayed Goa Police 8-1. Mukesh Kashap, Clive Colaco and Aldrich Costa scored a brace each, while Reece Baptist Ferrao and Satish Kumar Ganjhu scored a goal each for Churchill Bros. The only goal for Goa Police was scored by Vasant Govenkar.
